Mixed Marriages? Sharia is already in our midst
Consulates do not give a permit if he does not convert or if her father objects.
"Good morning, my Algerian fiancee and I wish to get married but this is an impossibility for us because her father does not wish to give his approval. I am Italian and I have converted to Islam in December. The Imam of Milan refuses to marry us without the consent of her father (keeping in mind that we are both thirty years of age). At this point, we are certain that the Algerian Consulate will not release the approval necessary for the civil rite. The situation is very delicate because, amongst other things, her father is an aggressive person. We do not know what to do. She wants to leave home but we know that doing so will stir her father and the entire Islamic community, the head of which is the Imam, against us. I ask your advice and perhaps assistance. Thank you."
This SOS came via internet to the Forum "Noi e Gli Altri" (We and the Others) which I moderate on the Corriere's site. As if to confirm this climate of fear, he hides behind the pseudonym "nickname". It is impossible to be more anonymous than this. Nonetheless, we are in Italy where marrying between consenting adults should be a right safeguarded by the constitution and the law. Evidently, the realty is other. Our correspondent updates us on the matter.
"We read that the mosque of Rome may release the certificate of conversion, something which the Imam of Milan does not want to do. At this point, we, however, do not know if we can succeed in obtaining the permit from the Algerian consulate. Would you happen to know if the right to marriage in that country requires the formal consent of the father? If the certificate of conversion suffices, we are finally but a step from marriage."
Then the final message which came on February 17th.
"It is a truly frustrating and ridiculous situtation. I hope that Italy implements a law making it possible for Muslim woman citizens to get married without the permit of their country of origin. I ask if you could recommend me a good lawyer in case of rejection by the Algerian consulate. I live in Milan and a good lawyer who is well-versed in these matters may well useful and I hope not to spend too much money because we have little enough as it is".
The Drama of "Nickname" and His Algerian Fiancee is umpteenth case of this sort bearing witness to how in Italy Sharia law prevails over the laws of the state in the case of marriage between an Italian man and a Muslim woman. Even countries usually considered secular, such as Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco or Egypt, maintain that a non-Muslim man must perforce convert to Islam in order to marry one of their citizens, which condition is the required prerequisite for releasing the necessary permit without which the Italian authorities do not authorise the marriage. Against this practice, which violates the principles of the constitution and our juridicial ordnance which forbid any discrimination on the basis of gender, race, faith or any ideas held, only a few Italians have so far rebelled by taking recourse to the magistrates. One such case was that of Luigi Del Marro and the Tunisian Sallouha Khalfallah who were united in marriage by the mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni, on the 31st of July 2004 after the lawyer Paolo Liberati managed to obtain a sentence of the tribunal of Rome ordering the official of civil marriage to procede with the marriage notwithstanding the refusal of the Tunisian authorities to grant a permit to Sallouha. However, in actual fact, the marriage of Muslim women in Italy continues to be regulated by Islamic Sharia. Paradoxically, this realty comes hand-in-hand with the recent decision of the Tribunal of Milan according to which "Even a marriage celebrated over the telephone has juridicial validity" in the same way that it is established practice in Pakistan that "the judgement of the formal validity of marriage" must be made "in the light of the law of the place where the marriage is to celebrated or the national law of the spouses". Thus, as happened in the past, with the decision of the Tribunal of Bologna of the 13th March 2003, the right of polygamy in Italy for Muslims who contracted polygamous marriages in their countries of origin was recognised "being irrelevant the practises held abroad by the foreigner whose national law recognises the possibility of contracting a plurality of marriages". These are all factual cases of judicial relativism as regards the institution of marriage which empower Islamic Sharia in Italy. In this matter, the attitude of certain magistracies, which privileges the cult of formal observance of the law and is indifferent to its practical consequences and the paradox of a political class growing careful of defending the separation of Church and state but is apparently ignorant of the fact that Italy has already been infiltrated by Sharia law, are complicit .

If "Nickname" and His Algerian Fiancée or whoever, choose to stay within the tight confines of Islamic community they're sowing the seeds of their own misery.
They have other options, turning their backs on their community for one which would force it (the community) to deal with its' own misery which will contribute to its' demise, ultimately this is the destiny of all systems that enslave.

Oh my GOD!! This is terrible!Italians MUST be able to marry and breed with Muslims! We simply do NOT have enough Muslims yet! I want every Italian to forsake their own people and screw MORE Muslims! Have LOTS of baby Muslims!
But that's not the point of Allam's article! His point is the level of penetration of Sharia law in a secular western country. Of course there will be a growth of Muslim marriages if such mixed marriages are only allowed by Sharia law. However, if Italian law stops its complicity with sharia law then it would be possible for women of Muslim origin to marry freely without their spouses having to convert to Islam.
Yes well that's the other "anonymous" for you. As in red, but not so dead after all!
